Some time ago I wanted to do a shoot that told a story of the pain I was experiencing with the herniated disc in my back. The often excruciating pain that made every day a little harder, testing my ability to have patience with the ones I love and to see a light at the end of the tunnel. It has been 3 months since I began a series of things to help my back and through this time I have learned that it takes a very strong person to wake up everyday in pain.
I am so happy to say that it has been just over 3 weeks and I am finally going through a whole day with little pain!!!!!
But when shit really hits the fan I turn my favourite band 21 Pilots crazy loud, shake my head, sing at the top of my lungs or just close my eyes and listen. I DEDICATE THIS POST TO THOSE OF YOU HAVING A HARD TIME, WHATEVER YOUR STRUGGLE MAY BE, MAY YOU FIND STRENGTH, COMFORT & PEACE in the world around you.
“Fight it, take the pain, ignite it, tie a noose around your mind loose enough to breathe fine and tie it to a tree. Tell it, “You belong to me. This ain’t a noose, this is a leash. And I have news for you: “You must obey me”

“While you’re doing fine, there’s some people and I who have a really tough time getting through this life so excuse us while we SING TO THE SKY”

“Sometimes quiet is violent. I find it hard to hide it, my pride is no longer inside its on my sleeve,
My skin will scream reminding me of who I killed inside my dream.
I hate this car that I’m driving, there’s no hiding for me. I’m forced to deal with what I feel. There is no distraction to mask what is real.
