I love engagement sessions because it gives me the opportunity to work with you prior to one of the most important days of your life! It allows you to feel confident on your wedding day with posing, and building a relationship outside of emails & phone calls with me!

This is such an exciting time, your partner has asked you to spend the rest of your lives together!!!! What an incredible feeling; you get to hang out with your best friend forever and to top it off get some AMAZING photos to celebrate this!
First, we will pick a date that works for you both, preferably in the afternoon when the lighting is prettiest for photos (two hours before sunset). We will also have a backup date in mind in case the weather changes... "Raincouver." I also adore indoor intimate shoots, so this is most definitely an option!
We can chat about outfits and because we have an hour there is time for two outfit changes if you wish. Some client's love the idea of doing some casual pics together and than changing into more dressy outfits.

Whatever you choose to wear please refer to these helpful hints...
*please choose outfits that do not wrinkle easily unless this is the look you are going for
*please choose clothing that is flattering (I do not use photoshop)
*if we are going to be outdoors dress for the elements and wear comfy footwear
*remember you can use these photos at your wedding if you wish (wedding colours)
Feel free to bring props to your session to make it a little more interesting, here are some of the more common ones...
*Vehicle to sit in or on (Picnic themed)
*Blankets to sit on or wrap each other in
*Champagne, to drink, spray and/or both
*Pets, if you have a fur baby feel free to bring them along

Once your session is finished you may be wondering how long it will be until you get the gallery... it will take me up to two or three weeks to edit and send you your photos. In busy season (April to September) it may take the full three weeks.
The gallery will include all of your best images from the session fully edited. Once you receive your photos I highly recommend you download them and put them somewhere safe. If you would like to print out some pics, I would recommend heading over to London Drugs, the quality is great and the prices are reasonable.
